CHALLENGE
Before partnering with Hamster Garage, Redtiger’s affiliate program was heavily concentrated, with five partners driving 85% of total revenue. This lack of diversification limited the program’s scalability and introduced significant risk to sustainable growth. Despite having high-potential partners onboarded, many were inactive. Redtiger had not yet invested in strategic recruitment or activation workflows and needed support expanding into upper-funnel content partnerships.
Recognizing the urgency ahead of Q4 and ongoing inventory shortages on key ASINs, they knew they needed to hire outside expertise. They chose to hand their Amazon Affiliate work over to Hamster Garage to create a strategic shift in three core areas: recruitment of new upper-funnel partners, activation of dormant affiliates, optimization of existing affiliates.

In Q4 2024, Redtiger turned to Hamster Garage to manage their Amazon affiliate programs alongside sister brands like Wolfbox and 3W. The team needed to act quickly to capitalize on peak season traffic while building a foundation for long-term growth. Hamster Garage focused on three key areas:
Recruitment
- Setting up partnerships with existing high-value prospects on the PartnerBoost platform
- Sourcing and recruiting content partners through relevant keyword targeting strategies
- Onboarding relevant mass media sites to diversify partner types and reach
- This recruitment push was tailored to the client's long-term goal of scaling beyond their top 5 revenue-driving partners
Activation
- Proactively reached out to editorial teams at mass media partners to secure organic placement opportunities
- Reengaged dormant partners with personalized messaging, updated offers, and performance data to encourage renewed activity
Optimization
- Set up CPAi opportunities to align partner incentives with available inventory and conversion potential
- Obtained prioritized SKU lists from the client in advance, enabling us to quickly launch CPAis without repeated approval delays
- Implemented a monthly partner review cadence, reaching out to high-value partners showing MoM revenue declines to uncover friction points and collaborate on solutions
